When do personal loan funds arrive after approval?

Short answer

Most online lenders disburse via ACH the next business day after you accept the final offer and e-sign documents. Some offer same-day funding for an additional wire fee ($15-50). Banks and credit unions typically take 1-3 business days.

Context

The timeline from application to funds: pre-qualification is typically instant (soft pull, no commitment), full application and approval take minutes to hours, e-signing and acceptance take minutes, and ACH disbursement settles next business day.

If you apply Friday afternoon and accept Friday evening, funds typically appear Monday or Tuesday depending on your bank. For genuine same-day needs, look for lenders advertising same-day funding (Avant, LendUp, OneMain in some cases) and confirm before applying.
